Pearl Dragon Katana Sword Set with Display Stand – 3-Piece Samurai Set

Price: $74.95

This striking set includes three traditional-style Japanese swords: a katana, wakizashi, and tanto, each housed in a sleek black synthetic scabbard. The handles are wrapped in classic black cord for an authentic grip, and each sword is adorned with silver-tone cast metal pommels and tsubas (guards) featuring intricate dragon-themed detailing. The elegant black wood stand proudly displays all three swords in a traditional horizontal orientation, making this set a stunning centerpiece for any collection.

The katana, wakizashi, and tanto form the traditional daishō—a matched set worn by samurai during Japan’s feudal era. These swords symbolized the warrior’s honor and status and were both weapons of war and spiritual artifacts. The dragon motif pays tribute to the mythological creature that symbolizes power, wisdom, and protection in Japanese culture. While this set is decorative, it reflects the timeless aesthetics of Japan's samurai heritage.

Note: The second picture is an illustration of the Battle of Sekigahara, one of the most important and decisive battles in Japanese history. It took place on October 21, 1600, and marked the end of the Sengoku (Warring States) period. The battle was fought between the forces of Tokugawa Ieyasu and those loyal to Ishida Mitsunari, with Tokugawa emerging victorious.

This panoramic artwork is a traditional Japanese emakimono-style painting, which vividly depicts the chaos and complexity of the battlefield with a multitude of colorful banners, samurai, and formations stretching across a wide, rolling landscape. Many of the banners show historical family crests (mon) that identify various samurai clans.

After winning this battle, Tokugawa Ieyasu established the Tokugawa Shogunate, which ruled Japan for over 250 years during the Edo period.
